DISCS For Children: The Buy One : Give One Model
AU decided to produce their own discs with minimal costs and solely for the purpose of spurring the growth of youth ultimate in India. The result was quite inspiring as thousands of these discs made their way across India, Philippines and even Africa to kids from underprivileged backgrounds through Indicorps*
AU has revived this project again under the Buy one Give one model. The discs have a Nelson Mandela quote and a chakraa logo on it in 4 different colors Orange, Red, Blue and Green.
The quote- "Sport has the power to change the world, it has the power to unite people in a way that little else does"
The 'Buy One, Give One' model means that you can purchase one of these discs for Rs.150 and donate one disc for youth! Aim is that each and every kid wanting to play Ultimate in India has a disc.
